How Slow Days came to be
I craved a space that felt like me. A studio where I felt inspired. Motivated. Creatively-charged. & most of all—somewhere I wanted to spend my time. Where someone could walk in the door and get a glimpse into my personality.
The name Slow Days speaks to how I like to work—intentionally, unrushed, and with care. I believe tattoos are more than a quick transaction; they’re collaborative, personal, and deserve time. This space is built around that slower pace—where every appointment has room to breathe, connect, and create.
Move the stencil, change your mind, take a break & take your time. A slow tattoo isn’t just part of the name—it’s the whole point.
My Origin Story
My passion for tattooing came from a few too many stick & pokes growing up. I never really meant to fall into it—I just kept experimenting, kept getting better, and somewhere along the way, realized I was actually learning how to draw. When the chance for an apprenticeship came up, I went for it—and ended up falling in love with tattooing in a way I didn’t expect. What started as a hobby turned into the strongest calling I’ve had in life thus far.
I’ve always jumped around from hobby to side project, from graphic design to a summer fling with a houseplant shop, & exploring all the crafts. Slow Days has become a culmination of all the skills I’ve acquired—it’s not just a tattoo studio; it’s a creative hub, a slow place, a reflection of everything I’m passionate about.
